This may be one of those guys that believes every possible option belongs on his car. Trying not to be negative.

Too much for words......My thoughts were maybe he was hauling Buddies Bug (VOLKS BEETLE) in the trunk and just didn't have room for the roof rack

Very disappointing without the fender skirts, curb feelers, fuzzy dice, hooded windows, antenna bobbles & mirror attachments. But, don't worry, I have faith that he's working on it.

No, since guys who love the cluttered up look don't like fender skirts, as they make the appearance of a car smoother and cleaner.

I gotta say, if you must have a Continental kit - that's a pretty good way to do it - especially for the 1959 Dodge with the sectioned bumper.  I think it is better than extending the whole bumper out and having gap fillers.

A bathing jetty might (just might) fit an early fifties or late fifties Car........

...and, if that rear spare is fixed, you pretty much have to have a luggage rack since the trunk is now non-functional.

it all makes sense!

I would too, and that goofy continental kit & fuzzy dice would get thrown in the recycle bin as soon as it landed on my driveway.

I think the continental kit on the 57 Ford was a function addition. When I was a young kid a family had one and when the top was up there was a lot of truck room but when the top was retracted there was very little trunk room.

Not realy, always part of the option list during the FL years, unlike those goofy continental kits an wire wheels.

It would be interesting to see what the front of the car looks like.  Maybe a light bar in the grille with yellow fog lamps???

Well, if you think about it the luggage rack makes sense. With the continental kit blocking any reasonable access to the trunk....... the rack comes in pretty handy!
