Is there anybody who makes a reproduction panel for 60-64 coupes.
The part from rear door jam to dog leg. Apears to be the same contour for all Chrysler Plymouth dodge coupes.
Different only at dog leg.
If not,I can't be the only one needs this section?
Does anyone else here need this panel?
Finding rust free donor coupes is too difficult.

Pic of area

Another pic of area. I don't know of many 60-64 coupes that don't have some sort rust problem in this area!

Your photos will be visible in the thread if you change the extension to jpg instead of jpeg
I don't think you'll find anyone who makes these pieces after-market, but check with Fridberg. http://forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=57691&post...
And you are right, most 60-64 coupes have the same issue unless they came from a very dry climate.

Thankfully my '60 New Yorker has no issues there. But I believe that Lennart Svard in Sweden makes them. I would contact him and see what he can do for you. svpor@hotmail.se

Sorry for always posting attachment pics. I've tried changing format to JPG,but my device always defaults back to JPG?
I posted this request on Jan Fridbergs thread and there was no response.
I would think as a 60-62 300,NY,Newport,panel that there would be a demand?
Then as a generic (make your own dog leg area) panel 60,61 Plymouth, 60-62 dodge,63,64 880,63-64 chryslers.
That's a lot of models to cover!

Nathan, thanks I will try your source recommendation.

Wayne, you have used coupe panels F/S or you use 4dr rockers on your projects?

I have one solid 63 300 coupe parts car that has a rust free panel in this area. I'm going to be splicing it into a 61 ply coupe. I had a expert metal fabricator who was going help me form a dogleg area.
He told me that he was going to use some material that makes a mold of dog leg and when it hardens he would hammer form a piece of sheet metal into mold? Anybody heard of this process.?
My freind had tragically passed away last year before we had a chance to start.
