Location: So. Cal | Good looking car, and I really like the 341 4-speed upgrade, but the dash is a disappointment to me. I'm also not a fan of his choice of carburetion. That setup doesn't look like it would perform very well in colder weather. The spark plug wire covers are really neat on the DeSoto's as well, so that without them, it's just not as fun.

Location: Eastern Iowa | Beautiful car, that is until I looked at the under hood picture.
Check out the "farmered" up wiring job, geesh....
That body style and trim pkg must be in the somewhat rare class I would think.
Put some new springs under it it would look much better IMHO.

Location: Branson, MO | Isn’t this DeSoto a ‘55 and not a ‘56 as shown in the header?
I see it is corrected though in the listing - nice looking car anyway.

Location: North Australia | It is a 55. thanks for the correction.
I found another 55 hot rod for sale, this one has major modifications. Pretty funny there are TWO of these for sale in QLD Australia. Steve.

Location: N.W. Fla. | the carbies through the bonnet makes it not street legal there. Odd that someone would drop in a blown 392 & not change out the PF..... |

...and find a full set of retaining rings, and the wire retainers, and find the proper DeSoto wire covers. It isn't as easy as it sounds. |
