Does anyone here remember there being a wood wheel chock

included in the trunk with the spare tire and jack of Forward look vehicles with 

no park position. ? My 58 Savoy had one and Have one for my 61 Fury.

Location: So. Cal		I have purchased too many original cars with those wooden blocks in the trunk for them not to have been issued with the car. And they are always painted black, using a soft wood, like pine.

Location: Ponder, TX		Yes, there was one in my dad's '56 Plymouth and my '55 Plymouth. They were wedge shaped and both were painted dark gray. They were also included in earlier years, and the manual described which wheel and how it should be chocked when changing a flat. I had one in my '48 Plymouth and in one of my '53 Plymouths, but I don't recall their color.

Thanks guys....  The one in my 58 and the one I have for my 61 are both black, wedge shapped.

Location: Montreal, Canada		Yep, same here, Canadian cars had them too. My 32k original miles unrestored 1959 Dodge actually had two of them in the trunk.
