Can anyone point me in the right direction or know of a source to get outer tie rod ends for my 61 pioneer? I know I'm gonna have to fork out some cash. But I dont wanna pay the rareparts prices if I don't have to.

I think that the outer tie rod ends are PN 2084 352 (2084352 when searching via Google, etc).

I am surprised that Moog doesn't show any:

https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/products/dodge_polara_1961

Len Dawson says he has one 2084352 and he also refers to a 2448398 (but he doesn't have any)

http://www.dpmotorparts.com/inventory_4_b.cfm

I found a pair of 2448398's on eBay but I can NOT confirm that they would be correct. The seller says:

"NOS MOPAR 2448398 OUTER TIE ROD END PKG (SA P, D 57-61; D 62-64 880; DS"

No, they interchange with later years, like the ball joints, you can get quality parts for not much money. The only pricey "suspension"parts are the inner tie rod ends and the center link, but the ITRE last forever, poperly serviced. Mine, at 360+ k, are still good and I have never seen worn inner tie rod ends in my life working on these cars (33+years). Only replace parts that are really worn.

Thanks for the replies and links. I have all my parts gathered(tie rod routers, control arm bushings, ball joints). When replacing them I'll check the inner tie rods and maybe just throw some new boots on if all is well
