These are 15x6 steel wheels with five (5) hubcap retaining clips on the center. Attached are pictures. I need five (5)!

I take it they used the same '56 Dodge caps that most of the cop cars used. You need to look for '56 Dodge wheels, but I believe that the maximum width they came in was 5.5" on the D500 cars & wagons. You could consider purchasing a standard '55-'56 Dodge wheel and get it re-hooped to the width you want using Stockton Wheel or others.

They were used on some hd applications until at least 1966. My '63 300J has them even though it has full wheel covers. I have also
seen them on some station wagons.

The 300J used 15" wheels? I don't think any of the normal station wagons used 15", but maybe more custom length limo or transporter type of cars would. I would bet these wheels would be extremely difficult to find beyond 1956 due to the very limited use that they would see then.

The 300G,H, and J's all had 15" wheels. The '63 parts manual shows #2200928 for the J and police car applications. The '65 catalog
shows the same part number for police cars and taxis.

I believe those are standard '53 - '54 Plymouth dog dish caps. I'm surprised your car used them as the Chrysler cop cars used the Dodge caps, even as late as 1962.
There is a set of them for sale on Ebay now here, though I think these are too expensive. People think they are used on the '55 too, but they aren't listed in the parts manual.

I have 4 wheels and caps.
The previous owner (40 years ago) told me they were cop car wheels.
I wasn’t sure he was right until years later.
The wheels are on my 58 GC 350 fury.

The wheels are actually 15x5.5. They were used on police cars and taxis/fleet vehicles, usually with 361/big blocks.

That would make more sense as it would be a standard '56 D500 wheel.

I saw a set on a 1963 New Yorker 4-door sedan yesterday. I wouldn't have known what they were but for seeing this thread last week. Gary Grossich has the car which he's going to be parting out.

I sold a 55 Plymouth V8 parts car to big M earlier this year. I believe the car had at least 2 of these wheels on it. 15 inch with tabs narrow.
Contact John he may still have them?

The non-tab 15 inch (15x5.5) were also used on A-series trucks and vans. I got mine off of a A-van at a local salvage yard. They use the early large dog dish caps. Now my 64 880 has the original style caps, but on 15" wheels so I can run 235/75R15 tires. They match the diameter of the old large 14" size tires.

UP DATE I have had great response about the wheels. Unfortunately I still don't have a set.. I recently got a real nice 15x6 wheel delivered with a part number on it. The number is 940810. This is a true 15x6 which I could use three more of.. Can anyone identify that part number or year range ?

Please Keep your eyes open THANKS

Unless you are afraid of someone looking for part numbers inside your rims, you would be better off purchasing some standard, common '56 Dodge wheels from someone locally and getting new 6" rims welded to those centers.

Nathan, That's my plan B... I will see if I can find them first. The parts number does not have to match I could care less, just so they all 4 look the same

Then if I can't find them I will have some made
