What are the recommended front shockers to use on the 58 sportsman hardtop? Mine are stuffed, the car is still under going resto 20K in chrome and so far 20K in ground up and only just scraping the suface!!!

Get some for a late-'60's C-body ('65-'73). You will have to shorten the lower mount to make it work, but otherwise they are the same. For example, the KYB part number is KG4507. Otherwise, if you want one that doesn't require modification, you are stuck with Gabriel 82072.
