Had the power steering pump rebuilt for the 3rd time on my 57 Dodge, this time correctly. The belt is slipping and chaffing every time you turn the wheel, I think I have the wrong belt. Anyone know the correct number for it?

I think the OE PN was 1821 684. I found a NOS one on eBay but you will NOT like the price:

Rock Auto says the modern equivalent is a Gate 7370 with Outside Circumference = 37.56 inches

Thank you, that's very helpful. The belt is 'chaffing' against the pump when the pulley turns, there's a lot of bubbling and not smooth steering. Every experienced something like that before? The pump has been rebuilt correctly and tested.
