On my 1957 Dodge D 500, I think I am getting incorrect oil readings from dip stick.
Put in 6 quarts of oil, checked it 3 weeks later after driving 50 miles. Down one quart. However, It does not leak oil or burn oil.
Did not check it when new oil was added.

Could it have the wring dip stick?

Any thoughts why this would be incorrect?
thanks Bob

One quart could have gone to the filter.
