The 1st spot I have will be with the Featherlite single car open trailer from New Jersey, Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Connecticut or possibly Mass. back to the Ohio area or can go farther up to Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa. This spot will load on or about the 31st of August. The 2nd spot will be with the Ameri-Lite single car enclosed trailer & will be from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana or Western Pennsylvania up to Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa. This spot will load either the week of September 3rd or Sept 10th The 3rd spot will also be enclosed & will be from North or South Carolina, Georgia or Eastern Tennessee up to Ohio Indiana, Michigan or Pennsylvania. Regular Posts: 94 Location: Wakeman, Ohio | Hello Everyone, ****EDIT to add additional spots!***** Looks like I will be adding one more west coast trip before I shut down Late October/November to help out a customer who is moving & a museum in New York with A Brownie Kar! I will be looking for something going out to Washington, Oregon or Northern California for late September/Early October from the East Coast or the Great Lakes Area. Buying something in Hershey...That is a possibility! I will then have an enclosed transport spot from the Denver, Co Area back to the Ohio area or further on! Had a nice week using the open trailer. I don't use it much anymore, so when I get the chance...It is kind of a nice break! My September schedule has changed a bit as I added a few more customers to it. Early the week of September 10th I will have an Enclosed Transport spot available from Ohio, Indiana, Southern Michigan or Western Pennsylvania down to Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, Northern Alabama or Northern Georgia Later that same week, I will have an Enclosed Transport spot available from South Carolina, North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Western Virginia or Northern Georgia up to Ohio or surrounding states. Not sure if your needs fit???....It doesn't cost anything to ask! This was supposed to be my maintenance week, but agreed to take a quick one on Tuesday down to North Carolina. This means I will have an ENCLOSED Transport spot available from North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee or Northern Georgia up to Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Western Pennsylvania or Western New York. This spot will need to load on Wednesday the 20th Also I have one more West Coast trip Late September to Mid October as I have booked a couple of cars out there. Regular Posts: 94 Location: Wakeman, Ohio | Hello Everyone, Had a great trip from the Corvette Museum with a customers brand new '24 down to Florida & subsequent transports home. I love my job, this hobby & all the great folks in it! Also love getting to drive all kinds of different cars, because obviously you can't winch a car like a new Corvette, so you have to know how to drive them & can't be afraid to do so! When I come back out in March, I have 2 openings in the Eastern half of the country to get knocked off my schedule before I set out on on 3 consecutive rounds trips to the West Coast & back. All of these trips are scheduled to be with the Single Car Enclosed Trailer. The 1st available spot in March will be from Florida going anywhere North (preferably as close to Ohio as possible, but am always open for other locations) The 2nd trip in March will be from Texas, Louisiana or possibly Oklahoma to basically anywhere in the Eastern 3rd of the country (ideally of course towards Ohio, but am always open to other areas) This will start my 42nd year in business with well over 4 million accident-free transport miles. I have one shorter transport spot available in the single car enclosed trailer from the Mass, Connecticut, Rhode Island or Eastern New York area (NO NYC/Long Island) back to Ohio, Indiana, Michigan or Western Pennsylvania. This trip should load around March 4th or 5th. I need to get this one knocked out as I then start out on 3 consecutive West Coast runs for the rest of March & April. The 1ST is filled 100%, the 2ND I may have an available spot from the Denver, Colorado area back towards Ohio or further East. So far the 3RD trip has an opening from Washington, Oregon or Idaho back to the Ohio area or parts east/southeast. These spots will fill quickly as the time get closer, so don't procrastinate! Hello Everyone, Just back a great round trip Michigan to Carlsbad, Ca then to the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar, Ca (north of L.A.) ....What a great place. I picked up this beautiful 38 Lincoln Coupe that I believe was still original paint & brought it back here to a customer in Ohio. Starting on my 2nd of 4 west coast runs Sunday. This one should top 8500 miles before I get home & have only ONE spot available, that would be from the Denver/Cheyenne areas to the St Louis area sometime mid the 1st week of April in the Enclosed Trailer. Even though I am booked well in advance, I am ALWAYS available to quote prices, offer suggestions about transporting or steer you in the right direction towards other Quality, Honest guys I trust 100% with my customer overflow, so you don't end up having a less that positive experience getting your baby moved! I met some more really great folks in our hobby! My next trip is number THREE of Four straight round trips out to the west coast & back. I have ONE spot left available on that trip : Later in April I will be available to transport in the enclosed trailer from Wisconsin or Northern Illinois towards Ohio or further East. This vehicle must be the size of an A body GM or smaller as I will be helping out an historical society in New York to bring something back to them that they purchased from Washington state, it will take up the front part of the trailer. I will continue on to South Carolina, North Carolina, Maine, New York & Wisconsin. Once I get to Wisconsin, I will have an enclosed transport spot available from there back toward Ohio or surrounding areas. This transport will be somewhere on or about June 19th The following week (June 23rd) I will have an enclosed transport spot available from South Carolina or surrounding areas up towards Ohio I will NOT be going back out to the west coast until at least the end of July as I need to concentrate on stuff in the eastern half of the country for a while. I do have a car waiting in Los Angeles & one waiting in Tacoma, Wa for late July & August, so I will have openings out to those areas from the eastern/central part of the country if you are not in a hurry! Regular Posts: 94 Location: Wakeman, Ohio | Hello Everyone, Finished up a couple of great trips over the last couple of weeks & transported some GREAT vehicles! See pictures below. Now the tough part.....My wife Laura has been diagnosed with Cancer & it has spread from one part of her body to another. She had surgery on her upper spine to remove a mass & had a rod & screws installed to stabilize her spine. She is now in recovery & after a bit of rehab, we will be back with the oncologist to address the other part. We are staying positive & praying that she will beat this & be back at cruises & car shows yet this year!!!!! PLEASE all my Friends/Customers/Fellow Car Guys...Keep Her in Your Prayers. I have cleared my schedule except for a car already here in Ohio down to South Carolina. I will run this transport in the next week or so. If someone is needing transport from S.C. Northern Florida, Georgia up to Ohio Indiana, Western Pa. or Michigan, I am available. I need to make this trip as short as possible, so my focus will be fairly tight as far a pickup & delivery locations, but don't hesitate to ask. Other than that, I will be off the road to help my Wife get through this until at least August. I also have an opening out to SoCal/Phoenix/Las Vegas for August from anywhere in the East or Central part of the country, but we have some time on that one. We have decided that I should be able to get back on the road somewhere around the 1st of October in a limited schedule of trips that will only keep me out a day or two at a time. This means I can run basically anywhere in the eastern third of the country. I already have an Enclosed transport spot available early to mid October from Florida up to the North (ideally the Ohio area, but I am always open to other options) Even though I am still off the road till then, I am available to offer help in the way of names of guys I trust 100% with my customers overflow. Last week I was honored to pickup this Yenko Stinger (pictured below) from the Crawford Auto Museum in Cleveland, Oh & transport it back to the Corvair Museum in Illinois. Kind of cool that this is the 1st time I have seen this car since I dropped it off to be restored in Illinois from Washington State several years ago. While I hope 2025 is a better year for me personally as 2024 was by far the WORST year of my life, I still so very much enjoyed meeting many new Guys here on the forum while transporting their new toys to them. Regular Posts: 94 Location: Wakeman, Ohio | Hello Everyone, Even though I am off the road for a while yet, business still has to be done! Those that have used my service know how anal I am about my equipment. After 1.5 MILLION miles on the enclosed trailer....it was time for a new one! Prices have gone through the roof for high end trailers & I refused to buy JUNK that the tongue breaks off, the doors fall off, the axles break away, etc. The INTECH I looked at was $45K, the mid range ATC was $33K. I was looking at a used mid-range ATC at $26K, but it did not have the escape door. Finally I found this 26 ft Mission built by ALCOM & structure wise it is higher quality than the mid-range ATC. Even though it looks brand new, I save a few Grand, because it is a couple years old. I look forward to starting my 43rd year in business with this trailer & God willing it will be my last one as I don't think I have another million+ miles in me. I will be back out on the road sometime in March & it looks like I will have an opening from here in the Ohio area out to The Southern California/Arizona areas. Funny, just before you posted this I watched a half hour program on a local channel recapping an antique boat show up in Canada this past summer & immediately thought of you & your boat! You must have got my vibes! LOL Hello Everyone, Transport spots for March are filling up fast! At the end of the month I will be taking a car from Ohio to Southern California, then reloading another in So. Cal back to Central Tennessee. I will then have a spot from there up to Ohio & surrounding states available. I have an Enclosed Transport opening from Ohio to Maryland, Delaware or Virginia mid March & possibly one from Eastern South Dakota, Minnesota or Iowa back towards Ohio at the end of that trip. In May I will have an opening from the eastern half of the country up to Washington state or Oregon as I have one waiting there for me. In June I will have an opening from the eastern half of the country out to Southern California as I have one waiting there for me to pick up.
