| Figured I should post some pics of my car. Story on this car goes that it sat in a garage here in BC from about 1984 till a few years ago when the fella I bought it from persuaded the family to sell it to him, but had too many projects on the go so good luck for me! Its got all the usual rust, from rockers and trunk extensions to some floor and headlight eyebrow weight reduction. Poly 303 runs strong after freeing up a few valves and after doing all the brakes (Converted to discs in front as at some point in its life, somebody removed both front brake assemblies and misplaced them). Had a receipt in the glove box for a transmission rebuild approximately 300k before it was parked for its long sleep!

Brandon: Welcome to the forum. 
Very nice 57 (I didn't see any of the issues that you named (  ). I see from the Photos that you are in Powell River. I could tell from the houses in the background, the mill and the real syncher was those Liberty ships anchored as a breakwater. I used to do consulting work for the mill and the District of Powell River. I haven't been there in years though now. Looks about the same.
There are lots of folks here with lots of knowledge about 57s and 58s so if/when you have problems, let us know and we will try to help.
I am in New Westminster and have New Old Stock (NOS) parts guy in Coquitlam who has 100,000 Mopar parts. Your name might be on some of them

| The pictures creatively hide some of the worst haha. A good eye! Yeah Powell River hasn't changed much, I actually work at that mill (Though I'm living in Burnaby for the next month or so doing some courses at BCIT). A parts guy in Coquitlam you say? Theres quite a few things I'm looking for, does he run a business or is it sort of a word of mouth thing? |

Location: CA | That's a REALLY nice car, just so you know the interior door handles should be pointed UP and forward. I don't think I've ever seen a Belvedere without a clock before, is that a Canada thing? I've had them without a radio but never without a clock.. I thought that was standard equipment at this trim level?

| So far as I know this one has always been clockless. It's got a few other peculiar Canadian things. The Plymouth logo on the trunk is chromed instead of gold (has a gold one in the pics as I have to resolder some pins onto the original chromed one), as well as a Plymouth script that goes below the trunk lid (also needs some work, mines broken in 2 places). |

Location: CA | It's very likely the ship on the trunk either faded and someone just polished it. I've never seen one other than gold, they are anodized aluminum just like the front one only MUCH more well exposed to sunlight and the elements as the front one is a little more recessed being part of the grille. The Canadian cars did seem to have a Plymouth script badge under the trunk. The clock thing is unusual to me, neat to see though. |

| I am not sure it is a faded gold one, I can take some pictures when I return to where my car is stored. The gold one is a very light aluminum whereas the chrome one is a very heavy pot metal casting I believe. |
