Can I run a 60's - 70's 727 behind the 413 Golden lion or is the crankshaft a different lenght?

The pre-'62 crank flange extends farther from the block and this prevents the installation of the 727 without an adapter.

The other option is to change the crankshaft to a 62 and newer one from a 413 and then it fits together.
