Location: Lower Mainland BC | Ralf: Post at least the first part of the VIN because those M2, etc. look like it is a Los Angeles built Coronet V8 D66-1, 2 dr sedan (2142) built on June 4th, 1957.
I would have to guess that the VIN starts with 42...:

Location: The Mile High City | I think the M2 and M5 numbers are option groups. ...I'm not very good at those LA tags!

Hello Ralf!
Does your car have two tone plastic steering wheel, rear quarter stone shields and standard wheel covers?
If so, your car has equipped with Appearance accessory group #4 (M2 = 4; order code 334 for $28.00)
The M5 = 1 is a most common option; It is an Undercoating (order code 401 for $12.85)
The car also has white roof, fins and lower color below side moldings; the saddle color is yellow…
She has also an optional Custom Trim package, because your trim code starts for “2” – Trim 210;
Standard upholsteries have been starting for “1” – 110, 111 etc;
So the trim code 210 is a Gold Pellon Vinyl and Black Star Dot Fabric, something like below…

Ralf: Gott nytt år
In case you forgot, there is a 57 Dodge trim code thread in which Igor and others have posted examples of the various 57 Dodge trim codes.
If you had a photo of your 210 trim, post it here or there, to add to the data base:

Location: Finland | Thank you guys , now everything is figured out, The upper half of the steering wheel was completely missing but I assume it has been a two color wheel.
Stone shields it has and the hub caps are the the full wheel type but they might have been thrown in the car in any stage of its decay...
Yes I have read your fine trim code thread , thank you for doing this effort... |
