Hi,

Anyone know the specs for the rear castle nut? I need to replace one.

I've searched high and low (a few results at hardware stores, eBay and Amazon) and am unsure which one to get.

Better yet, if anyone knows with certainty where I can get one, that would be a life saver... truly.

An answer to a question that you didn't ask is "The Part Number is 53 553". Just 5 digits, not the usual 7, implying that those axel nuts have been used for a long long time.

That part number allowed me to search and find at least two sources:
