Location: So. Cal | No, but it looks like fun! I painted the knights & lines on my dog dish caps through a combination of masking and wiping with alcohol afterward. They came out looking great, but a sticker over them would be a lot easier. The question I have about these is how long do they last in the UV sunlight? I purchased some road runner decals and put them on my '70 Satellite. I was disappointed that they faded in the sun quite quickly - like after 2-3yrs of sitting outside.

Also, not sure about this, but isn't the knight's head embossed ? So wouldn't the decal bulge when it covers that ? Ron |

Location: Connecticut | Honestly, the narrow strips would be a pain in the butt to get correct. I think the paint-and-wipe method that Nathan described would work a whole lot better. That's how I restored the white squares on a set of 59 Dodge spinner hubcaps, as well as the red squares on two sets of 57 Chrysler 300C hubcaps. I used lacquer thinner on a paper towel a few seconds after spraying. Ron |

Location: The Mile High City | The knight's head is stamped into the stainless steel, so a decal could work, in theory. I wonder about all those issues too. However, painting and trying to remove excess fromt he fine fins is daunting! |
