I bought a Derale 6 blade 19" fan to try to keep my 56 Dodge Poly cool here in south Florida without adding an electric fan. The Derale fan is thicker than the 4 blade factory fan, so I ordered a 1 inch spacer to replace the 1.5 inch from the factory. However the new fan and spacer have 3/4 inch center mounting hole vs the 1 inch factory. I went to a local machine shop to have the hole widened but there was not enough material on the Derale part to do that. He offered to fabricate a new one for me. It fits perfectly with one inch spacing from the radiator and from the crankshaft pulley.
