Location: So. Cal | I didn't think 4bolt covers were ever very expensive, at least they aren't now. Here is one on Ebay for $70, and even that seems high to me.

Location: Lubbock, TX | Agreed, I'd say even the flattops are only vaguely desirable to someone who wants a perfectly accurate 1958 motor, most guys are fine using the 1959-63 covers. That being said, if a guy's only set are smashed all to hell and he needs a pair of valve covers super quick, I'd say they'd be worth $200-300 tops and only if they're straight, clean and unmodified. Always worth having an extra set around.
