Hey Guys,

I'm assembling some parts which will include a new water pump and I have a couple of questions. Is the bypass hose and nipple, that go into the water pump, the same as those used on an LA motor?

The answer is yes, they are the same.

Well, I spoke too soon. The LA motor bypass hose is too big at around 1" ID whereas our car's nipples are more like 3/4" OD.

The DAYCO 70476 is the hose to get. It was a perfect fit and didn't require any cutting.

I just realized that I should have posted this thread in the cooling section. Mods, feel free to move it there.
