Does anybody know if 70 magnum exhaust manifolds work on a 60-64?

From an eyeball perspective I believe the B and E-body right side manifold exit flange position might be a problem but a C-body Magnum manifold might work. Always wanted to try it.

When I compared my B-body HP manifolds to my DeSoto, I didn't see any issues with it. But I didn't actually try it out yet. The C-E body left manifold looks like it would fit better, but this is just from looking at the space, without actually trying it out.

Yeah, I had a brain fart...the LH manifold would be the issue.

When my shop installed the 440 from a 71 New Yorker in my 61 Newport, the 71 exhaust manifolds would not fit. They tried dropping the 440 in with the manifolds attached, and then tried re-attaching the manifolds after the 440 was in place (it dropped right on the 361's motor mounts). We ended up re-using the 361's exhaust manifolds. With cross rams and 2.5" dual exhaust with an H pipe it breathes just fine. It was way too loud at first without the H pipe.

On a side note, the 440's oil pan was also too deep, so it has the pan off the 361 too.

Were the exhaust manifolds HP or standard performance? The 440 TNT (HP) was available in the '71 NY but not as common as the standard performance.

Standard manifolds, part #s 2899876 and 2951861. I still have them.

I swapped out the complete drivetrain from the 71 NY to the 61 Newport - motor, trans, driveline, rear axle. The cross rams like the part-throttle kick down that was first available on 71 TFs. Standard u-joints on both ends, and no more tapered bearings in the rear. The 71 rear end was a little wider, my shop just cut the perches off and welded them back on to fit the 61. Wheels now fill the rear fender openings nicely, and it handles a bit better with the wider stance in the rear.

The manifolds I have are from a 70 GTX
I will be pulling a 383 out of a 63 300.
I will test fit manifolds at that time and post results.

I have a 61 Plymouth that has 62 max wedge headers on it.
They fit ok,but there is NO room for power brake booster or heater box
