Location: So. Cal		Depends on if you have the dampener or not. I recommend that you use one regardless. If you choose to use a dampener from a 340, and mark it appropriately, then you could use more readily available pulleys from later years.

Okay so 57 D500 which would have a harmonic balancer front crank pulley.

From the parts book, there were no 3 groove pulleys for a 57 Dodge. Only 2 groove.

Even with A/C, as per one of JohnS's D500s, there were only 2 groove. See below.

(I could be wrong but that is what I see in my files)

1958 Chrysler Windsor 325 Poly owned by a fellow here in BC has a 3 groove pulley on the water pump and a 2 groove on the crankshaft.

Location: Peoples Republic of Oregon		Our usual solution to most pulley related issues is to use a new LA dampener (rebroached keyway) and post-62 sheaves. It is not difficult to
trim off one or more un-needed grooves or trim to match the w/p sheave. Sometimes a spacer behind either top or bottom is needed for alignment.
