FINAL UPDATE - on this topic. Bought 5/16" x 24 nuts and lock washers at Lowes yesterday. Not stainless. Just the regular plated. Installed them. Saved the original nuts and lock washers for the next purist.

Good luck finding the threaded 5/16" x 24 rod that you need. Try Lowes or ???

The intake manifold is threaded 5/16"-18 and the factory studs have 5/16"-24 at the carb end. Summit has a variety of studs in different lengths.

5/16"-18 All-Thread rod will work but the correct type studs with a space between the two threads can be torqued into the manifold and won't back out when the nuts are loosened.

Thanks for that. I did not know that. I had looked for just the nuts at the -24 end and did not know that the manifold was -18.

I learn something new, every day.

Too soon old, too late smart.
