I have the oil filter hardware from an LA motor and I have recently been told that you can use these pieces to adapt from canister to spin on oil filter.

Any opinions?

Thanks

that's what i used to convert mine. now it uses the same filter as my wifes 2007 cx-9. the car came with the hardware in a box, just the threaded adaptor that would normally hold the oil filter and gasket to match. oil filter seals fine to the original surface.
