Location: Chattanooga | I am regretfully coming to the realization that I will not be able to complete the restoration of my 1959 Windsor convertible, so I am posting it for sale. I bought this car from Benny Buckner about two years ago, and Benny did a lot of work on the car before I picked it up a year ago. It has all new brakes, gas tank, windshield, and all the body work is done. The car runs well with no issues, the top mechanism works with new pump, hoses, and cylinders, but it does need a new top. The glass is all good, and the trim is in good shape with a few minor dents and dings. The power windows work, but will need additional lubrication to make them go up and down faster. All the lights and gages are working properly. It will need a complete interior. Included in the sale is a !959 Windsor 4 door sedan that is equipped with factory air conditioning and swivel seats. I have not tried to start the sedan, although the seller assured me the engine was free. My plan was to swap the air conditioning and the swivel seats into the convertible. This is an extremely rare and desirable car, with about 10 known to exist worldwide. One was just listed on Ebay for $97,000, and Hagerty says a #4 convertible is worth $31,000, and a #4sedan is worth $11,000. I have over $30,000 invested in the pair as they sit, and I would like to recoup my investment. asking $30,000 or reasonable offer.
