    Location: Under the X in Texas | I brought this '55 Firedome sedan to south central Texas from NE Iowa where it had been much of its life. It has its original 291 Hemi engine with 2 bbl and I have "yard driven" it around several times in my subdivision. Maybe 8 miles total by now. It is VERY smooth. New correct NGK plugs, rebuilt carb, oil/Wix filter changed. The PowerFlite shifts and up and down fine. Suspension all good and greased, very minimal wear in king pins. Tires are 235 75R 15s and are some 10 years old but literally like new. 4 wheels black powder coated, no spare or jack. Gauges all work except fuel. All the lights work. You can see the grille is nearly perfect (not kidding), other chrome very good on front end.Purchase was a bit odd as the seller decided to keep the RED and white seats and door panels he had professionally redone. So, there is NO interior, no seat frames. Full Solex tinted glass car all fine except the windshield has a straight vertical crack which does not interfere. Gas tank is fine. Radiator is leaking some near top. There is front floor rust under driver's feet, little under passenger's. Trunk floor is uncommonly good. Doors have no rust. One tail lens cracked (could glue). The rear body has been rust repaired and total repaint in the distant past. The lower rear quarters are fiberglassed. Other areas little rust. Before I saw it in person I intended to part it out specifically for the Hemi. When I got into it I could not do a part out. This car should be built into a family cruiser. Location: Under the X in Texas | Would be happy to if you can point me where to look for it. I know a '56 Chrysler d.p. is on the sheet metal apron in front of the radiator.
