Looks just like mine in it's current colors.
That fabric was supposed to be reserved for the 4dr hardtops. But I've seen a couple of 2dr hardtops with it now, so it makes me believe that you could have ordered the car with it. The 4dr hardtop '56 Belvedere is quite rare. Maybe they allowed the 2dr hardtop cars to use it so the fabric they made wouldn't go to waste?

Bid to $18K, but not sold. Listed on Ebay and bid to $18.4K before being sold offline.

I believe this is one of the nicest unrestored cars of this age that I have ever seen. Probably well worth the price in comparison to many others I've seen in the same price range.

Good luck to the lucky buyer and hope it turns up on this website in the near future.

Probably a bargain.

That car is a time capsule. If you are restoring one, I would save all the photos from that eBay listing (more that the BAT listing)

That's a beautiful car. And I think a bargain price too.

I want to point out that we don't know how much it sold for. It bid up to $18.4K before it was pulled and sold offline. All we can say is that it sold for more than $19K.

He paid $25k for it the first time around, but I know he's not the kind of guy who's forced to get that out of it again. Likely let it go for low 20's.
