Expert 5K+ Posts: 9604 Location: So. Cal | I've found one in my LA built '56 Plymouth. It was under the floor mat on the passenger side. Unfortunately, it had become one with the undercoating and I had no choice but to destroy it. It would have been good to take a picture of it, but that was before the advent of digital cameras. Neil always claimed that they could sometimes be found on top of the glove box, but I have never found one there yet.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 466 Location: Southwest VA | I found a broadcast sheet taped to the back of the glove box on both my '61 Fury and one of my '59 Dodges. I haven't located any other sheets on any of my '55-'61 cars. On late 60's early 70's Mopars, I've found it's always a safe bet that the sheet is tucked up behind the rear seat springs.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9855 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . I have been begging, pleading and whining to try and get an example broadcast sheet for a 56 Dodge for over 4 years now. Nothing. That said, they have been sighted and posted for some FL cars here on the forum, mostly starting in around 1957. This post contains some: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=69770&... Otherwise, you need to get an image of your car's IBM card and post it to try to figure things out. I have done this for many 56 Dodge owners.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 339 Location: Wisconsin | I found one tucked into the back of the upper rear seat on an LA-built 1956 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman. That's the only one I have ever seen, unless you count the fact that all 1959 DeSotos had a build card glued to the underside of the glovebox liner.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9855 Location: Lower Mainland BC | Fireflite56 - 2022-12-16 12:50 PM I found one tucked into the back of the upper rear seat on an LA-built 1956 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman. My 56 Dodge was LA built. I wonder whether it will have a broadcast sheet up there too. How can I check that without disassembling the seat too much? I can remove the seat bottom easily enough but peering up into the back of the back seems like a problem. ???

Board Moderator & Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 13042 Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | Far as I have understood, there was no standard routine for if the broadcast sheets should be placed inside the cars. My '60 Saratoga had no broadcast sheet anywhere, but there was an inspection sheet under the carpet in the rear left of the car. I think that the foreman decided if the broadcast sheet should be placed in the cars, more as evidence if someone complained that the car wasn't built as ordered.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7385 Location: northern germany | Found one under the front carpet passenger side in my 61 Desoto and another one in the same car, but I forgot where. But since the latter is in excellent condition, I do believe it was on top of the glove box. Wait... I found one under a seat, but I forgot if it was my 60 or 61 Desoto.
