Location: North Germany | Hy,
next week I plan to replace my steering gear with a "new" (refurbished).
Most of the steps are clear, I found a nice video on YT, also nice for me because I can understand Bob very well. My question : is this the right way ? Maybe some other advice ?
The link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv3N6Ism1LI
I hope the steering box is the right one. The first delivery was wrong.
Thanks
Roger

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | I can't see the full steering gear, please take a better picture. The steering gear body and the valve body looks wrong to me.
What made you order a new steering gear? Please clarify what problems you have with the steering gear - sloppy steering? - leakages?
To change the steering gear or replace the insulator rubber is a task, much to consider - mail me your email adress and I can send you some info.
Meanwhile, here is a picture of the steering gear

Location: North Germany | Hello wizard, the steering gear was very leaky, but also has a lot of play. You can turn the steering wheel maybe 100-120° without moving the wheels. Adjustment on the housing is no longer possible. I measured the old gearbox, checked the size - at the moment ( gearbox is installed ) it looks similar. My address is nyassa$web.de ( an@ instead of Dollarsign )
Thanks Roger
