For 1960 Chrysler and Desoto 361/383/413, were original factory valve covers attached using studs/nuts, or bolts? Please only reply if you are sure. Thanks.

On my '60 Saratoga with 383, there are studs mounted. When I removed the valve covers for to change the valve cover gaskets, I notised that no one ever removed the valve covers. So, studs are likely original.

Studs usually indicate the holes go into water or oil...

Studs. They sometimes come out if the nut is stuck on them and get replaced with bolts, but studs are correct.
