Expert 5K+ Posts: 9650 Location: So. Cal | That's actually a great deal. You wouldn't find the complete engine for that price anywhere. But only if you live close by. Paying the shipping is where it becomes not worth it. Edited by Powerflite 2023-02-21 8:02 PM

Elite Veteran Posts: 1141 Location: Blackpool, United Kingdom. | Just spoken with son of owner, she is a elderly woman and looks like she has already agreed to sell it for $1500, as he wanted it to restore and gave a sob story of how he always wanted one and that's all he could afford to pay for it, but looks like it now belongs to the guy selling in craigslist advert.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1141 Location: Blackpool, United Kingdom. | Hi Wayne, I have been chasing this car since March 2019, guy posted a picture on Facebook and didn't know it was a Adventurer, it was part of his late father's collection of cars and his mother wanted to sell off the cars as she had no use for them, things slowed down due to covid and he finally dug the car out and moved closer to his home, he said he had someone interested in it for $5500 and I told him to let me know if it didn't sell, but no further reply so I assumed it had been sold, Seen the advert on here and contacted him, he said he had been messed about by a lot of people and thought I was not interested as I was in England, anyway his mother agreed on $1500 to the guy selling it in the advert, looks like sale went ahead yesterday at that price as far as I am aware but the other cars he was interested in he won't sell to him now.
