I run into this older gentleman once or twice a year. I ran into him last week and he showed me this book that his friend gave him.
Unfortunately, I was with some friends and didn't really have time to look at it but I told him it him that when new it had to be a very expensive book.
I took down what I THOUGHT was enough info and would look it up to give him some idea of the value.
I can't find any thing on it. I must have not have written down the correct info?

It is a large book that as I remember is possibly around 20" x 20", heavy and thick. He says it has a paper cover at home but it didn't have any picture on the hard red cover.
Now I'm wondering that I wrote down any of this correctly - name "MOPAR MUSCLE", dated 2005 or 2003? Written by Gent Hardt?
A VERY nice expensive looking book with lots of large colorful pictures from the early muscle MOPAR's up to the Viper, Crossfire, Prowler.

I couldn't find anything on it or even anything similar. Is this book familiar to anyone and if so, what might it be worth?
Thanks for any info,
Karl.

Karl: That sounds familiar and I might have it (somewhere ). In the meantime, I did find on my shelves, "Hemi - The Ultimate American V8" by Robert Genat.

Still available new and used:

The same author apparently also did a "Mopar Muscle - Fifty Years"

And another "Mopar Muscle - the complete story"

Hope that helps

Is that the removable paper cover and the actual hard cover is a brick red?
I really hope I run into him soon. I swear the author was Gent Hardt but
I am dyslexic and do sometime mix up letter in my haste. Just don't remember Robert at all.

No idea what is under the paper dust covers but one of them might be the one you are looking for, i.e.

Robert Genat and David Newhardt

Not either of them but thanks anyway.
The dimensions of those books are way too small.

The Hemi book with green 'Cuda on the cover is 10" x 10". So 20" x 20" would be crazy big.

I think/hope that I would have used my "Smart" phone's camera to capture the cover of the book in question and the ISBN number, etc. so I could remember what I saw. I do that sometimes in Home Depot and Lowes.

So the search continues.

Here are the results of searching "Mopar Muscle coffee table book"

This has to be it, right?

Mopar Muscle
2005
Robert Genat

I'm pretty sure this is just a hardcover, large format version of the book that Dave listed above.

I wished I paid more attention.
I saw his sister the other day and didn't think to ask her when he might come around again.
I'm either WAY off with my quick observation or it's something different? Now it's a quest.
