After deciding to stick with purchasing bias-ply tires one more time, I want to replace the valve stems since they are 10+ years old just as the old tires.

Folks who I want to purchase the tires from do not carry them.

Want to confirm that I would be looking for TR - 15 stems (their suggestion - length - 1.38"; base diameter - 2.20"; stem diameter - 2.20") though they seem to be more useful for inner tubes placed inside tires.

Any idea if this suggestion is correct and where these or other optional valve stems can be purchased?

Thanks!

Tire stores that do mounts and dismounts generally carry lots of valve stems and have several varieties. Check them out.

With those diameters I don't know what they're looking for.

As far as tire stores I've found I've had to buy correct length and hole diameter, which I believe was 5/8th" hole from Napa Auto parts.

Our cars have a 5/8" tire valve hole.
Years ago a tire jockey jerk put a modern 1/2" valve in my wheels !!! I did not know and it held for several days , then one tire went flat and I discovered what the moron did !!
