Location: Branson, MO | From the info I found, the 350 cid was the standard engine for the Firesweep. |

Location: The Centennial State | ...and I think it was the normal one-carb setup. I don't think there was an option for a dual carb setup or the 361. Powertrain options were limited to transmission and differential. The US Firesweep owner's manual indicates only the 350 was available. No indication that the inline 230 "Get-Away" six was a possibility, as it was for Dodge. I don't know about Canadian and export options. Bill Watson (Chrycoman) in Vancouver and probably many others know much more than I! The 350 was a one-year only engine for MoPar, and I have heard the smallest displacement "big block" or "long block" ever made by Ma MoPar.

According to the second edition of "Standard Catalog of Chrysler 1914-2000," an "Engine four-barrel power-pack, Firesweep only" could be had for $45 extra. However, it doesn't give any horsepower rating.

What engines came in them
350 2 bbl (a "B"block engine with the distributor at the front)
"The 'B' series wedge engine was introduced in 1958 with 350 cu in (5.7 L) and 361 cu in (5.9 L) versions. The 361 would continue in production until the end of the series, albeit only for truck installation. "
