| What other dual point distributor besides the IBS 4003
would just drop into a 58 poly.
Can a 58 single Point distributor be converted to dual points (how) |

Location: So. Cal | Yes, you can convert any of the old single point distributors to dual point by swapping out the guts from another dual point iron distributor. I have some that I would sell, if you are interested. However, I don't do this with my own cars. Instead, I install a later electronic distributor and run an HEI ignition module attached to the bottom of it. These will drop right into a poly engine without requiring any modifications. You can read about that here: http://www.designed2drive.com
Also, you asked about other dual point distributors that will drop into a poly. Any of the early 241 or 270 Dodge hemi distributors will drop into a poly. I have some of those to sell, if interested.

Location: N.W. Fla. | Any A & LA dizzy will bolt in. You want OEM look? If so swap guts as mentioned, if not get one for a 340, original of aftermarket. |
