Location: Pau, S-W France		Hello, I found a MoPar generator that I'd like to identify. Oddly enough, I already posted this request in... 2002, maybe I'll have better luck today!
Generator 2098083, Autolite GJM 7005 A.

Location: So. Cal		The part number is very close to 1961 model Dodge Truck alternators & generators, but nothing listed in my parts books that matches it exactly. I suspect that it is made for an export model Fargo truck in either late 1960 or 1961. The very low serial number 055 also indicates it's from a low production vehicle. But this would need to be verified with a parts book that covers those export models. I looked in all the US based truck books and didn't find it. And by the way, I believe the full Autolite part number is GJM-7005-A8.

I found it in a 1960's Autolite book. It is Canadian application 1960 6 cyl 12 V "late' 7005A is pn. DATE code is 8 S which means august 1961.
prestolite/ Autolite uses a different date code than Mopar.

Location: Pau, S-W France		Thanks to all !!! I have absolutely no idea what car this dynamo came from! Judging by the size it must be a 30A. It has two grease fittings, one on each end, and a single pulley.
