I did not dream this up myself. I saw where a fellow had already fixed his broken motor mount using the EN-1026 mounts for a 56 Chrysler & Desoto. I cannot remember where I saw it. I just thought I should relay the info and show how it turned out after a bit of work. The hardest part is removing the old rubber that was still attached to the metal. I carved most of the rubber off the metal with an old wood chisel, then a wire wheel in a cordless drill, and using acetone to clean the bits off. If I could remember where I saw the post I would thank he or she for leading the way.

Location: So. Cal		Once you cut most of the rubber off, just fire up the wood fire grill and throw them in - after you cook your dinner, of course.

That would certainly work, if you like the smell of burning rubber from other than you rear tires.
