CCPC May Tour, GFS National Meet, Auction, BBQ

CCPC Tour: Meet Rob Goff (408-897-3037) at Knob Hill Foods at the
corner of S. Livermore and Pacific in Livermore, CA, Saturday, May 18,
2002,
at 10 AM. Proceed south on S. Livermore Avenue out of town, road bends
left (east) to become Tesla Road. First right is Mines Road. Go to
24441 Mines Road, about forty minutes drive way out in the hills. Be sure
to
make the left with Mines Road just after the 3-mile mark. The Livermore
Plymouth Ranch is just after the 19-mile mark and a few hundred yards
short of the Santa Clara County Line. Lots of parking, so come up the
driveway through the yellow gate.

GFS National Meet: The Livermore Plymouth Ranch is proud host to the
third national gathering of 1956-58 Plymouth Fury enthusiasts. Jack
Lewis,
president of the Golden Fin Society (GFS), has arranged dinners, museum
tours,
hotel, and breakfasts for the GFS members. Several 56-58 Fury show cars
are
expected, and Richard Main will have his four 1956 Furys
(works-in-progress)
on-hand for inspection and talk. All can be seen May 18 between 10AM and
2PM.

Classic Car Auction: Several cars will be auctioned off, including a 1921
Ford
Model T Coupe, two 1960 Desoto two-door Adventurer hardtops, two four-door
Adventurer sedans, two 1956 Desoto Firedome wagons, and two 1956
Plymouth Custom Deluxe Suburbans wagons. Several long ram induction
parts and one complete 1960 Desoto long ram induction system with carbs,
air cleaners, intakes, exhausts, and linkage are also up for auction. The
cars
are parts being auctioned are all highly cherished, but Richard Main's
focus
has
to remain on his extensive 55-56 Plymouth collection.

The Livermore Plymouth Ranch hosts the World's Largest Collection of
1955-56
Plymouths. These include two 1955 Plymouth Belvedere convertibles, three
1955 Plymouth Belvedere two-door hardtops, one 1956 Plymouth Belvedere
four-door hardtop, and five 1956 Plymouth Belvedere convertibles all under
restoration.
Over twenty-five 55-56 Plymouth parts cars are on site too.

BBQ Lunch: BBQ Wild Pig, hamburgers, hotdogs, and cold sodas are being
served.
So make a day of it, we're expecting 200-300 Mopar car enthusiasts.
