[GFS] Carlisle/A new '56

Hi GFSers,

The November issue is about half done and on schedule for a print run come
Friday AM.  Do want to thank all of you who made your intentions known
regarding a 4th Nats at Carlisle.  The support is fantastic!  The
Newsletter will let it be known that July 11-13 in Carlisle, PA is our
site for next year!  Indications are, that this will be our largest
gathering in terms of GFS participation yet - and we've only just begun!!

We picked up our 2nd adder to the '56 Registry today as George McKovich of
Idaho alerted me to an ebay motors auction close that featured a mildly
customized(painted black, hood/deck molded or leaded in) '56 Fury that
sold for $4500.   The numbers all check out (except lack of an engine #,
tho photo of non running engine looks 303 poly) and it is an adder to our
Registry - #118 for the '56 Registry.  I have tried to contact the new
owner and have invited him/her to join the GFS.  Will keep you posted on
how that turns out.

Meanwhile, back to getting the GFS Letter out....
