Did you send away to the Chrysler Historical Society to find out what the 
original motor number was?  If not, I would spend the $45.00 and find out.
I 
hate to say this but, if it's an FP31 motor it probably is not the
original 
motor.  That happens to be my puny opinion.  The only real way to find out
is 
get the build sheet from Chrysler.
