As far as I know all the air filters for the 350 oval air cleaners were oval.

I had oval filters on my original 318cid Fury in 1957 and the filters were 
oval.  I guess they ran out of the original air cleaners as it was a late August 
car.  (A big dissapointment to me as I loved the look of the original a/c's). 
Like I said back then they only had oval air filters for the oval cleaners.
