Re: [GFS] paint codes & colors

When I recently parted my 58 Coronet, the colors were written on the firewall
behind the inner fender, which I believe had never been removed. It was
white / red / red from top to bottom, and the original colors were white
top/trunk/fins, red hood/upper body, red lower body. It was written over the red paint
of the firewall. Don't know if other models are the same. Has anyone found
this on their cars?

does anyone know the where? the paint codes and a source to decode a 57
Plymouth ( two tone ). I see my car was originally a sort of dark red (
engine compartment darker than Christine ) on bottom and do not know what
the top color was. the seats are dark red and black with a white headliner.
she is a black car now.
