Re: [GFS] PLYMOUTH GAS TANK QUESTION

According to the parts book, a 20 gal. tank was NOT even available in the
Sub. in ,55-56, only a 17 gal..

I do not know which tank is in the parts car, I will try to take a look at
it if it stops raining this week.

I spoke to the last owner and he thought it was a 20.

John,

Only Suburbans had the 20 gallon tank. All other 1955/1956 Plymouths and
Dodges used 17 gallon tanks.

How's your Fury coming along???

Did you go to Carlisle???

ED

  Paul:

Is there any way to tell if your car has a 17 or 20 gallon tank?
