Hi Ron,

I just went down to look at my tank which is out of the car and couldn't
find a part number on it - it could be near the sending unit, as my tank is
scraped up near the edge of the unit, and the number might be obliterated.
My parts manual shows P/N 1557 468 for years and cars you show for a 17 gal
tank.  There is a 17 gallon tank for Suburban's only, with a different P/N.

Hi Guys,

            It looks like I need a gas tank for my 56 Plymouth Fury. Mine
has
a big, big dent in it. Does anybody have an extra one or know someone that
has one? I am told it is interchangeable with 55 & 56 Plymouth or 55 & 56
Dodge.
(Not Suburban station wagon) It is the 17 gallon size. Does anybody know if
there are part numbers on gas tanks and if so where is the part
number???????
