Re: [GFS] Need a part

Hi John.
Long time no write...
Update time.
Panelbeating of body still chugging along. The rhs rear quarter has been
removed to gain
access to nasty cancerous sections hidden behind the panel. So this is a
57 Fury with only
one fin now-how sad. That boy has good hands though. The rusty floor
panels are pretty much a
thing of the past now.
The chassis is taking shape, and will be ready for dropping the motor and
trans in just as
soon as I can find a spare 10 hours or so. It sure is looking good.
Starting to feel like all
those 2am's in the garage alone are worthwhile.
My dashpads finally got completed too. If you recall, my Fury always had a
handmade right
hand drive dash, therefore an original dashpad was out of the question, so
I had a few
custom-made. And they snap-fit to perfection. The dash itself still needs
repainting but at
least the end is in sight for that side of the project.
All in all, things are going well.
Hope you find the brake drum you are looking for.
PS. Hope it's not too brainless a question, but which side of the car has
the wheel bolts
with the "L" on them? Mine never had that style setup, as some monkey had
put drums from a 62
on her.
I have a bad case of the flu at present, which has knocked me out from
working down in the
garage for the last 4 days. That would be the longest that I have not
worked on her in the
past 2 years!!!
And yes I am still enjoying it-immensely.
Take care.
Glenn.
