Flat tire. Since the caution flag laps don't count, he was able to return
to the track at the tail end of the lead lap. With 20 laps left in the 100
lap race, Fensler made contact with another car causing the fender to cut
the right rear tire. This caused him to spin out on the front straightaway
bringing out another yellow flag. After Fensler returned to the pits to
replace the flat tire, he was able to work his way from 12th position to
3rd at the end of the race.
