[GFS] Fw: Tulsa meet

Hi Folks,

Following is another important message regarding Tulsa that Michael Morris was kind enough to alert me to. It looks as if we can get an assigned parking area for our club - for a fee. See the message for details. Also, some of our folks belong to the Plymouth owners club and they will have a parking area. I will be glad to act as the point man for our group, collecting the fees, and submitting the info to the Buriedcar folks, etc. Would love to hear your take on this.
Unfortunately, many of our members don't have PCs or don't use them, so they will get this message in our March newsletter scheduled to go out the first week of March - but does give us time to get our act together by April 15. We may be hearing of other activities, such as those Jerry Burch and the Tulsa Region of the POC may be doing, so I am sure we will be hearing of a lot of things. Anyway, read on to Michael's message. Then if you have a take, let this list know.

Jack Lewis

 Hi Jack,

I was just on the Forwardlook web site and Dave had posted the latest news from the Buriedcar web site. There is now a registration form for entering your car for the outside shows and they are asking the people caravanning as a club to have ONE person fill out the form with total number of entries in their club so they can locate parking areas for these folks. This is due by April 15 with the $20 per car. So if the GFS is going to be parked together or with the Plymouth club as many of us are also in that club we need to get organized soon.
Since you are our fearless leader you may want to email the GFS people and get a definite head, car count and collect the entry fees since they only want ONE person per club to do this. Then you can send in the form so we definitely have a parking spot there. As of right now I will be bringing my wife and my Fury to the event.

There is supposedly limited tickets for the unveiling of the car on www.Carsonattractions.com but I couldn't find anything about Tulsarama on there. Will try again later.

I am definitley not entering that show in the convention center as your car will be trapped in there for several days. I plan on leaving Sunday morning and they won't let you out of there until the afternoon.

The get together Saturday night that Dvae mentioned would be fine also.

See you in June,
Michael Morris
