        After I e mailed you, I called the Tulsa Convention Center 918-584-2000 ( I already have the NON-REFUNDABLE tickets) and I spoke to a woman who said the car was still buried and was to be taken out on June 15...only to be seen by VIP's at that moment...the car is to be put on a trailer and taken to the Convention Center around the corner and the "unvailing" is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.....Keep us informed...Thanks, Rob

I saw Ron Swartley's message regarding the rumor that the '57 Plymouth unearthing has already taken place. If so, then this flies in the face of their recent color flyer sent to all interested parties - the first entry of the text of that flyer states unequivacolly that the unearthing is to take place at Noon-Friday, June 15. 

If as Ron says (or more properly his source) that the unearthing in advance was to provide an impetus to sell video's of the event, and that one could construe that as a fraud to those travelling to Tulsa for the event.

In any event, I have contacted Paula Hale, the Tulsa representative to the Oklahoma Centennial Committee, for her side of the story. I requested that she consider an immediate response to the issue as she can be assured that if we are hearing this, others (clubs) will be too.

I contacted her via email and upon receiving a response will let you know.
