IML: Radios

Greg,
Do you have a search tune AM radio or a search tune AM/FM radio? If its the latter, its from a later year car. The '65 sales brochure mentions the search tune AM radio or the AM/FM radio with no mention of search tune. The '64 and '65 AM/FM radios were alike, and they upgraded to search tune in '66 and carried that radio over through '68. I was always envious of the 66's when I had my '65 Crown Coupe years ago for little more that just that reason.

In doing some research, I stumbled across this member's very rare radio delete option.

Eric,

Are you sure the '65's did not have the floor switch? The radio in my '65
has the floor mounted search tune and it was working fine when my car went
off to the restoration shop. Of course, the radio in my car may not be
original but certainly did appear to have not ever been changed when I took
the dash pad off.
