Re: IML: imperial question

SMITTY

For any Imperial V8, they all came off the line with a single 4 bbl carb as
soon as they got over the 2 bbl carb thing. But, as you know several have been
warmed up by various custom sources. A guy in Pueblo has a white '62 Custom
Coupe that he put twin tandem 4 bbl's ( from a wrecked 300 H ) on his 413 and
the Wellington Rifle owner had a red '56 that had Zebra skin inserts on the
seats and twin 4 bbl's on the 354 ( ah La 300B ). The present owner is very
proud of the '56. The owner of the 56 did live here in Colo Spgs ( across from
his brother ) but has moved to LA.

And that is the twin 4 bbl Imperial story.
