IML: Dope on The 413

Hello All,
I just received my October copy of Hemmings Classic Car magazine. On page 72, there is an article entitled Depend on It The 1960 Dodge truck V8. Before someone yells foul - this is not Imperial related - read on. According to this article, the 413 engine ( 361 also ) "...have their design roots in a heavy truck application. Chryslers 413 was then modified and fitted to a number of passenger car applications." It goes on to credit The Dodge Division for engineering the B Block. In a seperate chart, they speak of a 413 that devrloped 228 gross HP and 400 lbs feet of torque. These figures were obtained with a 7.5 to 1 compression ratio. My question is directed to our club gurus. What gives? If this is correct, how to I obtain additional information on the subject?
