Re: IML: Selling my '66 Crown Coupe

My 64 Crown Coupe looks just like yours. Persian White with white leather interior. If I were to sell, I would lose more than half my investment at $5,000. I hate when that happens, but it happens to a lot of us Imperialists.

It is with heavy heart that I tell you all I am selling my '66 Crown
Coupe.
That is, by sending this e-mail, it's now officially FOR SALE. Many
events
have conspired to bring me to this decision - not real interesting ones
but
enough that make it necessary to do so.

This e-mail is truely the first "advertisment" of the sale. My STRONG
PREFERENCE would be to sell to a club member - knowing that one of you
would
provide a good home and take good care of this beauty.

There are some external pics of her on the club's site at:

http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1966/Ricketson/index.htm

Since those were taken, I have finished the interior restorations -
except
for the front seats which could use some new leather or covers.

I will take more pics and prepare a proper "for sale" description. I
can
send that on request to anyone interested.

No price decided yet. I have looked on Kelly Blue Book and NADA. My
hope
is to get somewhere around their midpoint estimates. I know I have put
much
more into this car than I will get back in a sale.

So, please contact me off-list if you have an interest. This is NOT a
parts
car - she's a daily driver with only 88,000 miles on her. Runs great!
Full
documentation from original sales receipt. Build sheet still under rear

seat.

Sadly yours,

Jon Ricketson
